The countdown to the first day of school is officially on, and the excitement is building at Metcalfe County Elementary School! Our team has worked hard all summer to get ready for an amazing year, and we cannot wait to see our building come alive with our students' bright smiles.
At MCES, we are committed to Learning and Leading Every Day. We believe that every morning brings a fresh opportunity to learn something new, take on a challenge, and set a positive example for others. This year, our focus remains on providing a safe learning environment with engaging, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and build confidence. Whether our students are mastering new concepts in the classroom, demonstrating leadership on the playground, or participating in special school activities, we are dedicated to helping every Hornet reach their full potential.
We encourage our families to stay connected, get involved, and join us in making this school year our best one yet. Together, as we learn and lead side by side, we are going to make this a year full of big achievements, new friendships, and great memories.
Get ready for an awesome school year, Hornets!
Sincerely,
Paige Crowe
