Metcalfe County Schools serves more than 1,400 students in grades preschool through 12th grade. The school district is located in a rural area of South Central Kentucky with a county population of approximately 10,000 people. The district is comprised of three schools all located in the county seat of Edmonton: Metcalfe County Elementary School, Metcalfe County Middle School, and Metcalfe County High School.
