Hello!! My name is Mrs. Lori Beth Ferguson and I am so excited to be part of MCES.  Most of All,  I am THRILLED to be your child’s teacher! It’s going to be a fun year full of adventure and learning.  I am new to the MCES Family so let me tell you al little about myself.

I graduated from Barren County High School, I attended Western Kentucky University where I majored in Elementary Education.  I have always known I wanted to be a teacher so I was eager to begin my teaching career.  I am currently about to begin pursuing my Master's Degree this school year.  

I began my teaching career at Eastern Elementary in RTI for two years assisting students in Reading and Math.  After that I moved to a classroom where I taught 1st and 2nd Grade. This will be my third year teaching overall, and my first year with the Metcalfe County School System.  

I am from Barren County and live in the Temple Hill Community.  I am married to my childhood friend, Brent Ferguson, he works at Felker Brothers in Glasgow.  We have two very energetic boys Blane is 9 and in 4th Grade at Temple Hill and Jackson is 5 and in Preschool at Temple Hill.  We love doing things as a family and both my husband and I enjoy watching Blane and Jackson on the baseball field.  We are also very active in our church, Brent serves as a Deacon and I serve as the church clerk and I also teach Children's Church.
