By the fact that you are on this page, it is likely that you already know who I am, but I will give you a short background and history as well as my philosophy of education.

I grew up just down the road in Campbellsville, KY.  I graduated high school in 1988 and joined the Marine Corps soon thereafter. I spent ten years in the Marines as an aircraft structures and hydraulics mechanic on the AV-8B Harrier. I served in Desert Shield & Desert Storm as well as Desert Fox. During my last four years in the USMC, I served as an instructor for Aviation Maintenance.

On being discharged from the military, I returned to KY to attend college.  I earned my Associate's Degree from Elizabethtown Community College and my Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies & English from WKU.  I am an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene and faith defines my life.'

I believe that education is the key to success.  It is becoming increasingly difficult to earn a living in our nation apart from a good, solid educational foundation. I know there are examples of those who have had great success with little or no formal education.  However, these are the rare exceptions and not the rule. Words are power.  Personal Vocabulary is essential for good communication.  To that end, I challenge all students everyday to achieve some new level of understanding of the English lexicon.

Be well & be blessed!  ...and Go Hornets!
