Student HOSA members can use this link to learn about national competitive events available at the state HOSA conference.

KY state HOSA follows the competitive events guidelines for all events including dress code, event topics, etc.

Please feel free to browse the various competitons and select one that you would like to compete in. I recommend printing a copy of the event guidelines and scoring criteria for your review. You will need a copy of the guidelines when you compete as well.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns about attending and competing at KY state HOSA conference.

You will need appropriate dress according to nationals requirements and the extimated cost to atten the 2-3 day state conference is approximately $130 per student.  Parent chaperones are encouraged to attend and I will be glad to talk to you about those opportunities this fall.

We have an outstanding local HOSA organization with an average membership of 50-70 students. We provide community services including 2 American Red Cross blood drives each year. We travel to Louisville each March and compete in a wide variety of knowledge, skills amd leadership events. Our students bring home the gold bywinning their competitive events! Metcalfe County's HOSA chapter has been very successful in the talent show competition through the years winning numerous state titles. HOSA is a club that builds character, provides leadership opportunities, social activites, community service and even scholarship opprotunities. Students enrolled in at least one health science course are eligible to join. Fees for membership are $25 and this fee covers local, state and national membership dues. We hope to see you at our first meeting this school year!
